Welcome to St. Patrick Catholic Church of Madras
MISSION STATEMENT
We the Catholic Family of St. Patrick's, come together, through the grace of the Holy Spirit to share the living presence of Christ, and to continue His mission in communion with the Father and each other. VISION STATEMENT
We envision a welcoming family who strive to celebrate our faith in Christ and commit to engage everyone to become stewards of their God given gifts for the fulfillment of the kingdom of God on earth. We invite you to look around and get a feel for our church. Feel free to share any comments or questions that might be on your mind through our online guest book. If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our weekly services. And of course, feel free to reach out and call one of our Pastor or Staff.
We hope you and your family will have a warm and spirit-filled experience with us as we worship and fellowship together at our services, events, and ministries. We'd also like to invite you to make an online prayer request. You're prayer request opens the door, and God is waiting patiently on the other side of that door, at all times, in all situations, to join with you. Many blessings to you,
Fr. Luis Manuel Flores-Alva
| The nature of water is soft, that of stone is hard; but if a bottle is hung above the stone, allowing the water to fall drop by drop, it wears away the stone. so it is with the Word of God; it is soft and our heart is hard, but the (one) whor hears the Word of God often, opens his heart to the fear of God.
"... the Church is built upon the word of God; she is born from and lives by that word. Throughout its history, the People of God has always found strength in the word of God, and today too the ecclesial community grows by hearing, celebrating and studying that word. (Verbum Domini 3).

"... la Iglesia se funda sobre la Palabra de Dios, nace y vive de ella. A lo largo de toda su historia, el Pueblo de Dios ha encontrado siempre en ella su fuerza, y la comunidad eclesial crece también hoy en la escucha, en la celebración y en el estudio de la Palabra de Dios." (Verbum Domini 3). |
