ENGLISH ST. PATRICK'S LECTOR LIST Dec. 24, 2011- April 15, 2012
If you are unable to lector on your assigned date, please make arrangements to have someone take your place or call Margaret Sturza at 475-3274. Lectors need to study the readings in the workbook and practice reading them aloud prior to Mass. Please come to the church at least 15 minutes early on the day of your assignment, check with the choir to see if they are singing the response and or gospel acclamation. 10 minutes before Mass time, meet in the sacristy to pray with Father and the altar ministers, go to the ambo to read the announcements, and then go to the rear of the church to process in. Please go to the ambo at the end of the creed and be ready to read the prayers of the faithful, do not wait for Father to read his intro. You should all have the workbook for Lectors which you can use as a reference to prepare. We will be in Cycle B this liturgical year.
